Week 21 “Our Friends Are Progressing”

     Qué hongos mis champiñones. Creo que la semana pasada fue la última vez que no sentí que mis manos estaban dentro de un cubo de hielo. Definitívamente ha llegado el frio a Zacatlán jajaja. La verdad, creo que esta semana fue la peor que he tenido en términos de la obra, pero a la vez estuvo muy buena. Básicamente, este semana solo tuvimos como 2 días reales para trabajar en nuestra área, porque tuvimos que viajar a Puebla por unas juntas y eso demoró mucho tiempo, asi que todos nuestros indicadores claves fueron remalos esta semana jaja. Pero wueno, así pasa a veces. Esta fue la última semana completa antes de los cambios. La verdad, solía estar casi seguro que me iba a quedar un cambio más, pero ahora quien sabe. A mí me encantaría quedarme un ratito más aquí. Apenas llevamos un cambio en esta área que mi compañero y yo abrimos juntos, pero ya llevamos 3 fechas y vamos por más, asi que ojalá me pueda quedar, pero ahí veremos la próxima semana. Realmente tengo un amor muy fuerte por Zacatlán. Llegué aquí en Julio y ya casi es Diciembre, es bien loco como pasa el tiempo. 

     Con lo de los viajes, básicamente se sintió como un p-week jaja. A pesar del poco tiempo que tuvimos, mi compa y yo pusimos éxito porque nuestros amigos están progresando y ¡pusimos dos fechas esta semana! La primera hermana aceptó el desafío para el bautismo el 22 de Diciembre. Ella está tan lista, cree en el libro de mormón y tiene tanto interés, pero lo único que todavía no ha hecho es asistir la iglesia. Como todavía no ha asistido, no podemos poner la fecha oficialmente. Esta semana nos dijo que iba a ir, pero desafortunadamente nos mandó mensaje que se enfermó bien machín y ya no iba a poder ir, así que oren por la Hermana Anahí para que se pueda recuperar y ¡acompañarnos! La otra hermana, la Hermana Lilian, nos acompañó a la iglesia hoy y tiene una fecha para el 29 de Diciembre. La neta, ella es el tipo de persona que usaría los sombreritos de papel de aluminio sin ironía, pero hey, cree en el libro de mormón entonces eso es lo que importa

     Aparte de eso no ha sucedido mucho más. Ojalá la próxima semana tengamos más tiempo para chambear, si es que no me cambian de aquí. Si sí, sé que es por un propósito sabio del señor.

     What mushrooms my mushrooms. I think last week was the last time I didn't feel like my hands were in an ice cube. The cold has definitely arrived in Zacatlán hahaha. To be honest, I think this week was the worst I've had in terms of the work, but at the same time it was really good. Basically, this week we only had like 2 real days to work in our area, because we had to travel to Puebla for some meetings and that took a long time, so all our key indicators were trash this week haha. But o well, that's how it happens sometimes. This was the last full week before the transfer. To be honest, I used to be almost sure that I would stay one more transfer, but now who knows. I would love to stay here a little longer. We've only had one change in this area that my comp and I opened together, but we've already set 3 dates and we're going for more, so hopefully I can stay, but we'll see next week. I really have a very strong love for Zacatlán.  I got here in July and it’s almost December, it’s crazy how time flies. 

      With the travel stuff, it basically felt like a p-week haha. Even though we had such little time, my comp and I were successful because our friends are making progress and we set two dates this week! The first sister accepted the challenge for baptism on December 22nd. She is so ready, she believes in the book of mormon and is so interested, but the only thing she hasn’t done yet is attend church. Since she hasn’t attended yet, we can’t officially set the date. This week she told us she was going, but unfortunately she texted us that she got really sick and she wasn’t going to be able to go anymore, so please pray for Sister Anahí so she can recover and join us! The other sister, Sister Lilian, accompanied us to church today and has a date for December 29th.  Honestly, she's the kind of person who would wear tinfoil hats unironically, but hey, she believes the book of mormon so that's all that matters

     Apart from that not much else has happened. Hopefully next week we'll have more time to work, if they don't move me from here. If they do, I know it's for a wise purpose of the Lord.
