Week 6 A Lot Of Work!

     Qué ondaa. Esta semana definitivamente fue mucho mejor que la pasada. Mi compañero y yo hemos tenido la oportunidad de dar muchas lecciones a miembros inactivos y gente interesada. Una de las cosas que más nos ha impresionado es cómo el Espíritu nos usa como herramientas en la obra del Señor. Nosotros literalmente abrimos nuestra boca, y las palabras nomás empiezan a derramarse. Un milagro de esta semana es que pudimos encontrar a una miembro que no ha sido contactada en 15 años! El verdadero milagro fue el hecho de que hallamos su casa solo usando las direcciones que alguien de la calle nos había dado. Amo mi querida México, pero la gente aquí se niega a dar direcciones claras, es como un deporte a ver si puedes encontrar la casa. En fin, también aprendí por qué hay instrucciones en las botellas medicinales de la farmacia. Estaba teniendo dolor en mi rodilla, así que decidí tomar ibuprofeno para bajar el dolor. Cuando no se me bajó, decidí tomar mucho, mucho más y funcionó, pero la neta creo que me puse un poco pacheco jajaja porque mi cabeza pesaba lo mismo que un globo (no te preocupes ma aprendí mi lección). La neta no hay mucho más de que escribir esta semana. Estoy feliz de por fin tener tanto trabajo que ya ni sé que hacer. Mientras escribo esto, mi compañero me dijo que acabamos de recibir 40 referencias jaja. El trabajo es duro, hay días en los que caminamos demasiaados kilómetros, y ya perdí cuenta de cuantas veces he gritado "buenas tardesss" mientras tocamos una puerta. Sin embargo, la obra del Señor es la obra más importante que podemos llevar a cabo, y me regocijo de ser part de ella. Recuerden que no necesitan tener una placa misional para participar en este gran trabajo! Busquen maneras en las que puedan servir de su propia manera! 

     Los amo mucho a todos. Les prometo que leo cada uno de sus correos y mensajes aunque quiza no sea el mejor para responderle a todos. Hasta la proxima semana

Pensamiento Espiritual: Jacob 2:18 "Pero antes de buscar riquezas, buscad el reino de Dios." La misión es dura. Me despierto a las 6 todos los días, hago como 20 mil horas de estudio personal, camino otros 20 mil kilómetros, y sin embargo, no hay ningún otro lugar donde quisiera estar. No hay gozo más feliz y completo que el evangelio de Jesucristo. Ni una otra cosa en este mundo deleitara tu alma como Él. Búsquenlo!!!

     What's uppp. This week was definitely a lot better than last week. My partner and I have had the opportunity to give many lessons to inactive members and interested people. One of the things that has impressed us the most is how the Spirit uses us as tools in the Lord's work. We literally open our mouths, and the words just start pouring out. One miracle this week is that we were able to find a member who hasn't been contacted in 15 years! The real miracle was the fact that we found her house just by using the directions someone on the street had given us. I love my dear Mexico, but people here refuse to give clear directions, it's like a sport to see if you can find the house. Anyway, I also learned why there are directions on the medicine bottles at the pharmacy. I was having pain in my knee, so I decided to take ibuprofen to ease the pain. When I didn't feel better, I decided to take a lot more and it worked, but honestly I think I got a little high jaja because my head weighed the same as a balloon (don't worry mom I learned my lesson). Honestly, there's not much else to write about this week. I'm happy to finally have so much work that I don't even know what to do anymore. As Im writing this, my comp told me that we just got 40 referrals jaja. The work is hard, there are days when we walk too many miles, and I've already lost count of how many times I've yelled "good afternoonnn" while knocking on a door. However, the Lord's work is the most important work we can do, and I rejoice to be a part of it. Remember that you don't need to have a missionary badge to participate in this great work! Find ways that you can serve in your own way!

Spiritual Thought: Jacob 2:18 "But before you seek riches, seek the kingdom of God." The mission is hard. I wake up at 6 every day, do about 20 thousand hours of study, walk another 20 thousand kilometers, and yet, there is no other place I would rather be. There is no happier and more complete joy than the gospel of Jesus Christ. Nothing else in this world will delight your soul like Him. Seek Him!!!
