Week 26 “Conozco A Mis Ovejas Y Están Contadas”

Qué rollito mis pollitos. Feliz 2025. Otra vez cambiaron mi pday por los días festivos, así que ojalá que esta semana que venga sea normal otra vez. Desde la última vez que escribí, nos hemos esforzado mucho para ayudar a las ovejas que se han alejado del redil. El sábado vino Presidente Tilley a Zacatlán, y tuvimos una conferencia enorme con él, todos los misioneros, y todos los líderes de la rama. Básicamente nos dijo que somos parte del mismo equipo, y si no hay comunicación entre nosotros, nunca vamos a poder ayudar a la rama. Tenemos a 400 miembros en los registros, pero nuestro promedio de asistencia es 50-60. 70 y algo si es un muy buen domingo, asi que estamos haciendo todo lo posible para encontrar a los 350 que nos faltan. En nuestra área ya hemos encontrado a 8 familias inactivas, y la mayoría de ellos no recuerda absolutamente nada de la iglesia. Los que sí, ahora viven estilos de vida completamente diferentes. Sin embargo, son nuestros hermanos y hermanas, asi que haremos todo lo posible para ayudarles.
También, esta semana tuvimos la oportunidad de tener entrevistas con Presidente, lo cual fue muy chido. Él estaba ofreciendo una bendición a cualquier misionero que la quisiera, así que por supuesto acepté. Nombre, creo que además de Presidente, él debe ser patriarca también. Fue la bendición más poderosa que he tenido en mi vida, y me ayudó mucho. Mi entrevista fue, interesante, dejemoslo hasta ahí Despues de las entrevistas, Presidente me dijo que los iba a acompañar a Tetela para traducir. Básicamente, en nuestra misión, nuestra zona es conocido como "Las Ramas" o también "Narnia." Solo hay 3 ramas en la zona, asi que el Presidente de misión es el presidente de estaca. Estamos muy aislados, y de las 3 ramas, Tetela es el narnia de la zona. Esta lejísimos de las otras dos ramas así que, fue super chido porque pude ir al Narnia de Narnia. Fui a traducir el discurso de la Hna Tilley, pero terminé traduciendo el discurso de ella, de Presidente, y toda la clase de la segunda hora. Me dolió un poco la cabeza al final jaja, pero fue una gran experiencia. Oré a Dios que me bendiga con el don de traducir antes de irnos, y yo sé que estuvo ahí, a mi lado, desatando mi lengua y ayudándome.
Hoy tenemos pday de zona así que estaré en Chignahuapan casi todo el día. Los quiero mucho a todos, que se diviertan en las recalentadas
Pensamiento Espiritual: 3 Nefi 18: 31-32- "...pues he aquí, conozco a mis ovejas, y están contadas. No obstante, no lo echaréis de vuestras sinagogas ni de vuestros lugares donde adoráis, porque debéis continuar ministrando por estos; pues no sabéis si tal vez vuelvan, y se arrepientan, y vengan a mí con íntegro propósito de corazón, y yo los sane; y vosotros seréis el medio de traerles la salvación."

Hi. Happy 2025. They changed my pday for the holidays again, so hopefully next week will be normal again. Since I last wrote, we have been trying really hard to help the sheep that have strayed from the fold. On Saturday President Tilley came to Zacatlán, and we had a huge conference with him, all the missionaries, and all the branch leaders. He basically told us that we are all part of the same team, and if there is no communication between us, we will never be able to help the branch. We have 400 members on the books, but our attendance average is 50-60. 70-something is a really good Sunday, so we are doing everything we can to find the 350 we are missing. We have already found 8 inactive families in our area, and most of them have absolutely no memory of the church. Those that do, are now living completely different lifestyles. However, they are our brothers and sisters, so we will do everything we can to help them.
Also, this week we had the opportunity to have interviews with the President, which was really cool. He was offering a blessing to any missionary who wanted it, so of course I accepted. Name, I think besides being President, he must be a patriarch too. It was the most powerful blessing I have ever had in my life, and it helped me a lot. My interview was, interesting, let's leave it there. After the interviews, President told me that he was going to accompany them to Tetela to translate. Basically, in our mission, our area is known as "Las Ramas" or also "Narnia." There are only 3 branches in the area, so the mission President is the stake president. We are very isolated, and of the 3 branches, Tetela is the Narnia of the area. It is very far from the other two branches, so it was super cool because I was able to go to the Narnia of Narnia. She went to translate Sister Tilley's speech, but I ended up translating her speech, the President's speech, and the entire second period class. I had a bit of a headache at the end haha, but it was a great experience. I prayed to God to bless me with the gift of translating before we left, and I know he was there, by my side, loosening my tongue and helping me.
Today we have zone pday so I'll be in Chignahuapan most of the day. I love you all so much, have fun at the reheated.
Spiritual Thought: 3 Nephi 18: 31-32- "...for behold, I know my sheep, and they are numbered. Nevertheless, ye shall not cast them out of your synagogues, nor out of your places of worship, for ye must continue to minister for these; for ye know not but that perchance they will turn again, and repent, and come unto me with full purpose of heart, and I will heal them; and ye shall be the means of bringing salvation unto them."
