Week 33 “La Rama Básicamente Ya Está”

Qué. Rollito. Mis. Pollitos. Espero que todos se encuentren bien. Esta fue la última semana completa del cambio, y sinceramente no pude haber pedido por una mejor semana. En cuestión de nuestros números, no fueron los mejores. Pero en cuestión de la obra, avanzó demasiado. Esta semana logramos que 2 miembros pudieran tener sus entrevistas para recibir el sacerdocio de Melquisedec, y también logramos que un hermano reciba el sacerdocio Aarónico, y él ya tiene su entrevista programada para el sacerdocio de Melquisedec. Entonces, en esta conferencia de estaca, que es este domingo, tendremos a 3 hermanos que recibirán el sacerdocio de Melquisedec. En otras palabras, ¡la rama básicamente ya está! También, pudimos acompañar a nuestro recién converso Leonardo a entrar al templo por primera vez. Trajo sus propios nombres y le encantó la experiencia, fortaleciendo su testimonio aún más. También, logramos que dos miembros inactivos, uno de ellos investido, se reactiven y empiecen a asistir a las reuniones nuevamente. Y por último, tuvimos 2 bautismos este semana, en uno de los servicios más estresantes de mi vida jaja. Nombre, tuviera que escribir un correo nuevo para contar todos los problemas que surgieron, ¡pero lo importante es que las dos hermanas se pudieron bautizar! Las 2 compartieron sus testimonios al final, y aunque ningún testimonio duró más de un minuto, el Espíritu fue tan poderoso.
Los cambios ya son esta semana, y quien sabe que va a pasar. Ya tengo una idea, pero quién sabe. Pero bueno, pase lo que pase, estoy muy feliz con todo lo que se ha logrado en tan poco tiempo aquí en San José. Sé que todavía falta mucho más por hacer y estoy emocionado por el día en que tengamos una capilla y luego un templo en San José Atoyatenco, Tlaxcala. Durante estas 6 semanas del cambio, el Señor me ha hecho ejercer mucho la paciencia. Es un atributo que necesito desarrollar más, y durante la clase del domingo hablamos acerca de que la sabiduría del Señor es más grande que la astucia del diablo, y que el Señor siempre piensa adelante, y todo lo que Él nos manda es por un sabio propósito. Sé que en esta nueva etapa, y a lo largo de mi vida, necesitaré seguir desarrollando estos atributos semejantes a Cristo, y estoy demasiado agradecido por la oportunidad que la misión me ha dado de crecer espiritual, emocional, intelectual y socialmente. Realmente no hay nada como una misión.

Pensamiento Espiritual- "Alzad vuestras cabezas y animaos, pues sé del convenio que habéis hecho conmigo; y yo haré convenio con mi pueblo y lo libraré del cautiverio. Y también aliviaré las cargas que pongan sobre vuestros hombros, de manera que no podréis sentirlas sobre vuestras espaldas, mientras estéis en servidumbre; y esto haré yo para que me seáis testigos en lo futuro, y para que sepáis de seguro que yo, el Señor Dios, visito a mi pueblo en sus aflicciones. Y aconteció que las cargas que se imponían sobre Alma y sus hermanos fueron aliviadas; sí, el Señor los fortaleció de modo que pudieron soportar sus cargas con facilidad, y se sometieron alegre y pacientemente a toda la voluntad del Señor." - Mosiah 24: 13-16

Hi. I hope everyone is doing well. This was the last full week of the transfer, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better week. As far as our numbers go, they weren't the best. But as far as the work goes, we made a lot of progress. This week we were able to get 2 members to have their interviews to receive the Melchizedek Priesthood, and we also got a brother to receive the Aaronic Priesthood, and he already has his interview scheduled for the Melchizedek Priesthood. So, in this stake conference, which is this Sunday, we will have 3 brothers who will receive the Melchizedek Priesthood. In other words, the branch is basically done! Also, we were able to accompany our recent convert Leonardo to enter the temple for the first time. He brought his own names and loved the experience, strengthening his testimony even more. Also, we were able to get two inactive members, one of them endowed, to become active and start attending meetings again. And lastly, we had 2 baptisms this week, in one of the most stressful services of my life haha. Name, I would have to write a new email to tell all the problems that arose, but the important thing is that both sisters were able to get baptized! Both shared their testimonies at the end, and although neither testimony lasted more than a minute, the Spirit was so powerful.
The transfers are this week, and who knows what will happen. I already have an idea, but who knows. But, whatever happens, I am very happy with everything that has been accomplished in such a short time here in San Jose. I know that there is still much more to do and I am excited for the day when we will have a chapel and then a temple in San Jose Atoyatenco, Tlaxcala. During these 6 weeks of change, the Lord has made me exercise a lot of patience. It is an attribute that I need to develop further, and during Sunday class we talked about how the wisdom of the Lord is greater than the cunning of the devil, and that the Lord always thinks ahead, and everything He sends us is for a wise purpose. I know that in this new stage, and throughout my life, I will need to continue developing these Christ-like attributes, and I am so grateful for the opportunity that the mission has given me to grow spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and socially. There really is nothing like a mission. See you next week

And I will also lighten the burdens which are laid upon your shoulders, that ye shall not be able to feel them upon your backs, while ye are in bondage; and this will I do that ye may be witnesses unto me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions.
